Theobald To Lead Marketing
Session At National Publishing Conference
May 1, 2005 - Hundreds of publishers and authors will convene in New
York May 31 - June 2 for the annual Publishers Marketing Association (PMA)
Publishing University, the nation's largest educational event for book
publishers and their staff.
Among the attendees will be Mary Theobald, who has been asked to
organize and participate in the panel "Marketing Your Book(s) without
Breaking the Bank." In this course for authors, self-publishers and
small independent publishers, panelists will provide "how-to" details on
proven strategies for marketing on a shoestring budget. Those attending
the session will learn what works, what doesn't and how an investment of
time can pay dividends equal to an investment of cash.
Julie Henry, author of the novel A Matter of Time will moderate. Kat
Shehata, President, Angel Bea Publishing and David Hanson, author of the
The Spring Habit and 101 Reasons to Hate Dennis Rodman round out the
panel.
Mary Theobald is an award-winning writer, publisher and marketer. She
holds an MBA with an emphasis in marketing and has been developing and
executing marketing plans for local and national clients for more than
15 years. Mary is co-founder and marketing director for Ad Lib Books and
owner of Mary Theobald Marketing & Communications.
